Junior & Teen Lifting

Prepare to build confidence, strength and proper lifting technique with our Junior & Teen Lifting Classes that have been designed by our expert PT Karla, especially for young athletes and beginners aged 8–16.

CLASS INTENSITY

Our Junior & Teen Lifting sessions focus on teaching safe and effective strength training fundamentals, helping young participants:

– Learn proper lifting technique

– Build age-appropriate strength and stability

– Improve overall fitness

– Gain confidence in the gym environment

Each session is led by experienced, qualified coaches who specialise in working with young people, ensuring every class is fun, engaging and safe.

Class Structure

Classes are structured to suit different age groups and ability levels, with progressions and coaching tailored for beginners through intermediate lifters:

  • Juniors (Ages 8–11): Introduction to basic movements, bodyweight strength, posture and balance

  • Teens (Ages 12–16): Progressions into technique with light resistance, basic barbell and dumbbell exercises (appropriate to age and ability)

Sessions emphasise technique, controlled progress, and age-appropriate guidance throughout.

This class is ideal for:

  • Young beginners new to strength training

  • Teens who want better technique and muscle control

  • Juniors who want a structured, coached gym experience

All fitness levels are welcome! The classes have been designed to be supportive, educational and empowering.
