Meet Aimee, a qualified Level 2 Fitness Instructor & Level 3 Personal Trainer who specialises in Crossfit, Functional training, Weightlifting, Endurance and Gymnastics.
She fell in love with fitness because to her, it’s more than just a way to stay in shape. It has built her confidence over the years and it is a pathway to a healthier, happier lifestyle.
In her free time, she loves pushing her own limits by competing in Crossfit and Hyrox competitions. These challenging events inspire Aimee to continuously improve herself.
Aimee’s goal as a Personal Trainer is to help you become the best version of yourself. Whether you’re looking to build muscle, lose weight, or improve your overall fitness, she’s here to guide you every step of the way.
Meet Grace, she’s here to get you strong and confident in the gym!
Her fitness journey began in London, where she was working after getting her degree in English Literature & Language from Kings College. She turned to group fitness classes such as Barry’s Bootcamp, F45 and Fierce Grace Yoga by way of de-stressing after a long day. And was hooked!
She travelled to India in 2018 to train as a yoga teacher and soon after qualified as a Personal Trainer. Grace loves combining the mindfulness of yoga with the practicality and consistency of strength training. She believes that strength training is for everyone, especially women, and she has gained her pre and post natal qualification to ensure she can help women stay strong and mobile through pregnancy.
Grace truly believes that strength is a state of mind and feeling your best in the gym can empower you to feel your best in your everyday life.

Hello, I’m Nikita. As a personal trainer, my mission is to empower individuals at every fitness level, from beginners seeking confidence in the gym and those who need guidance with their workout structure to reach their desired goals effectively.
Whether your aim is weight loss, weight gain, muscle gain, or overall fitness enhancement, I have a record of guiding clients to success, backed by previous and current client’s results.
Beyond physical transformation, I firmly believe in the positive impact of exercise on mental well-being. The gym isn’t just a place to sculpt the body; it’s a sanctuary for the mind.
After nearly a decade working in NHS stroke rehabilitation, Harry is thrilled to kickstart his Personal Training career at VOLT GYM 2.0.
Over the last 5 years Harry has fallen in love with training in the gym. He’s gone through huge changes both physically and mentally along the way. This started with a challenge of a photoshoot to get himself in the best shape of his life, which then eventually became a goal to compete in bodybuilding, which was achieved late in 2023.
Love this gym. Always get a friendly greeting on each visit. What I really love, is its a gym where if you want to socialise, pair up with someone, you can. Or if you’re like me, and just want to crack on, you’re left alone. All staff are superb, friendly, and most importantly, respectful. They’ll always take time to show you how stuff works, or to help you get through some reps. The members vary from people that are super fit, to those like me that go to keep the extra pounds showing. It’s just a great gym.
The team at Volt are brilliant, always willing to help, knowledgeable and always have a smile on their faces.. Karla is a breath of fresh air when it comes to the classes… Providing great advice on form and technique! Oh and Karla provides 1:1 sessions… If you think you know it all.. I promise you, she’ll either agree with you or provide brilliant guidance, advice and instruction. Guys, keep up the great work! Fantastic gym!
Been going for a few month’s now, equipment is up to date. Staff are really friendly from the time you enter you always get a hello and how you been and even when leaving they are always hands on saying goodbye or ask how your work out was, to me this adds to the experience. It’s very busy in the evening but everyone who works out there are friendly and won’t hog the machines. Prices seems fair to me. 28.99 a month for 12 month’s is pretty competitive considering everything they have inside.
My favourite gym in the north! Always a friendly welcome, fully stocked with the best Hammer Strength equipment and power lifting racks and the place is immaculately tidy always. Highly recommended.
